Cristy Lee is a TV host and reporter, seen both nationally and online. She began her career in radio, and has since been seen as a motorsports reporter, arena host, race commentator, and live emcee for many different medias. In addition to her work on-camera, she has a passion for all motorsports, particularity motorcycle road racing, being a road racer herself.
Originally from sunny Daytona Beach, FL, Cristy Lee has called Michigan home since 2005, and she's been pursuing a career in broadcasting ever since! After graduating from Daytona State College, and moving to Michigan, Cristy Lee found opportunities in entertainment, performing as a professional dancer for the NBA Detroit Pistons, MISL Detroit Ignition, Caesar's Windsor, MGM Grand Detroit, and Motor City Casino Hotel.
In 2008, she landed a spot as the daily traffic, sports, and weather reporter for 101.1 WRIF Radio Detroit. After her one-year stint reporting during the afternoon drive, she was offered her own air-shift on the WRIF. Her love for sports wasn't left unnoticed, the Detroit Red Wings asked Cristy Lee to be their In-Arena hostess for the 2009 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, and she's been hosting for the Red Wings ever since!
Pursuing motorsports was her true passion; in 2010 Cristy Lee had the privilege of hosting and reporting for OnTheThrottle.tv, an online web series following the AMA Pro Road Racing series. Her stories were featured not only on OTT's website, but also on SPEEDtv.com. Cristy was also a contributor to a Midwest Extreme Sports Network (AGAtv), following MotoX, BMX, wakeboard, snowboard, and skateboarding competitions in the Midwest. She has also been featured on RedWingsTV & NHL Online.
Cristy Lee is also a talented live emcee and host. Besides hosting events for the Detroit Red Wings and WRIF Radio, she has emceed for NASCAR/Dodge, Chrysler Automotive Group, and Motor City Casino Hotel Detroit.
In 2011, Cristy Lee was offered the opportunity to co-host an all female automotive how-to show for Discovery Channel's Velocity Network. ALL GIRLS GARAGE is more than just your average automotive show, not just because there are 3 women in the garage, but the projects are like no other, from upgrading the RAM Air on a rare Pontiac GTO Judge, to installing an exhaust system on a V10 Audi, to repairing a Suzuki Hyabusa motorcycle, to building their own AGG Jeep!! Cristy Lee shot 13 episodes for season 1, and is anxiously waiting to start shooting her second season!
Most recently, Cristy Lee was brought on by AMA Pro Road Racing to host and report trackside during the 2012 AMA Pro Race Season. Her knowledge of motorcycle racing, and on-camera experience made her the perfect fit for AMA Pro Video. Following the entire 2012 season, to 12 different racetracks across the country, Cristy Lee brings the riders and their stories to viewers online during and after each round. With AMA, Cristy has also showcased her abilities as a PA Announcer, grid reporter, awards ceremony emcee, and race commentator. Not only has she had the opportunity to interview AMA Pro Racing riders and champions, but World Superbike and MotoGP World Champions as well!
